Doug Dean AM, B Comm, FCPA, FAIM.
Joining Veolia, then Collex in 1989, Doug Dean is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of Veolia Environmental Services, and is the longest serving CEO in Australia’s Waste Management and Industrial Services sectors; Doug is also Chairman of the Veolia Environnement Group in Australia and New Zealand.
Previously holding the position as Senior Executive with a major Australian transport group for 10 years, Doug has an extensive background in accounting with one of Australia’s top business service firms, and is also a committee member on many leading industry groups.
Doug Dean has held many Company Director roles throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the United States, in the areas of waste management, transport and water supply; he also holds outside directorships with the RSPCA and MCA.

Company Secretary
Reg Wallin, B Comm, CPA, FCIS.
Joining Veolia in 1995 after 30 years banking experience, Reg holds the position of Company Secretary. His key responsibilities include: ensuring that Veolia meets its obligations to ASIC, maintaining corporate records, convening board and executive meetings, reviewing contracts, managing insurance programmes in addition to acting as chairman of our employer sponsored superannuation fund. Reg also holds executive positions in sporting and community service organisations.

Group General Manager - Solid Waste Transport ANZ
Tony Pinwill.
Tony joined Veolia in 1991, with over 25 years experience in the transport industry. As the former Group General Manager of VIC, NSW and SA/NT, he has been responsible for turning these small transport businesses into premier, fully integrated waste management and industrial services providers. Tony now assists VIC, SA/NT and TAS management teams in focusing on productivity, service provision, capital and funding decisions, in addition to his responsibilities for Veolia Environmental Services New Zealand. Tony currently holds board positions for Integrated Waste Services, South Australia as well as Onyx, New Zealand.

Group General Manager - Industrial Services ANZ
Peter Grassi B. Eng.
Previously General Manager of Vac-Tech, Peter joined Veolia in 2002 after the acquisition of the Vac-Tech business. Since this time, Peter has assumed the responsibility of Group General Manager of Western Australia, encompassing both Industrial Services and Waste Management. He has over 30 years of experience within various industries including but not limited to civil and mechanical construction, mining, logistics and materials processing. Peter’s passion for continuous improvement bears witness to his record of continually streamlining service delivery in order to provide optimum value to the Veolia customer base.

Chief Financial Officer
Cameron Leckie, B Comm, CA.
After completing tertiary qualifications in Commerce, majoring in Economics, Accounting and Finance; Cameron moved into public practice for 7 years. In 1995 Cameron joined heavy ductile iron and steel manufacturer Tubemakers Water, as Group Accountant, where he spent 5 years; ending his tenure as Divisional Head of Finance and IT for the company.
Soon thereafter Cameron joined Veolia as Finance Team Leader on the introduction of the SAP Back Office Project, before taking up the role of Veolia Financial Controller. Cameron become Chief Financial Officer of VES in 2003, and is also responsible for the administration and supervision of the Shared Services Team as well as the IT function.

Group General Manager – Marketing, Business Development & Sustainability
Tony Cade, BBus (Econ), AFAIM.
Tony joined Veolia in 2004. During his previous fifteen years in the environmental services industry, Tony held a range of senior management positions in both the public and private sector. He has held a range of Ministerial Appointments to various resource recovery related Boards and Committees and possesses a comprehensive knowledge of North American, European and Asian resource recovery and AWT developments.
Tony holds tertiary qualifications in metalurgy, economics and has completed post graduate studies at Harvard Business School (Boston). Tony currently holds Directorships with Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) and Sims E-Recycle Pty Ltd. Tony is responsible nationally for marketing, business development, corporate affairs and sustainability functions. Tony is also chairman of the Veolia Corporate Affairs Group comprised of Corporate Affairs professionals from all four (4) Veolia Divisions.

Peta Jurd.
Since joining Veolia in 2008, Peta has held the position of Group General Manager of Corporate Services; responsible for the compliance, human resources, safety, legal services and company secretarial functions of our business. Peta has qualifications in Commerce and Law and previously held senior management positions at both Telstra and Mayne Nickless; giving her extensive experience running commercial and operational business units, as well as working with major clients.

Peter Murray.
Peter joined Veolia in 1989 and has over 25 years of waste industry experience, including those spent as Director of his own business. Peter was a former executive member of the Victorian Waste Management Association as well as other Industry groups, and possesses valuable experience in the investigation of world’s best practice in waste and commodity handling.Petermoved fromposition of Group General Manager, VIC, to NSW Group General Manager in 2006, where he held the role for over 3 years. Recently Peter has taken on the position of National Director of Operations.

Group General Manager – VIC
Simon Tori B. Business (Logistics).
Simon joined Veolia in 1995 after previously being employed as a Logistics Analyst for Mobil Oil. Simon has managed various operating divisions within Veolia and has also occupied Commercial Development and Facilities Operational roles. Moving on from his position as General Manager – Operations, Simon now assumes responsibility for the overall management of Veolia VIC operations.

Group General Manager - TAS
David Beard MBA, B.Civil Eng.
David has held various Senior Management roles over his career and has spent the last five years with Veolia as the General Manager Waste Services, Victoria. In this role David was responsible for all state waste services including Bulk, Frontlift, Resource Recovery and Recycling and for liquid and some IS services in regional Victoria. During this time David has continued to grow the waste business and upgraded all depots including project managing the new Dandenong depot and the procurement and development of a resource recovery facility for Dandenong and Shepparton.David has recently taken over the role of GGM for Tasmania and will work on consolidation of Veolia's market share and strategic direction within the state.

Laurie Kozlovic.
Having recently assumed the role of Group General Manager of SA/NT, Laurie will be responsible for developing and nurturing Veolia’s position within these states. His role will involve ensuring that the company enhances its reputation as the leading service provider of waste management and industrial services, whilst also focusing on the needs of our clients and our responsibility to the recovery of resources. Laurie has held a variety of senior management positions over his career, undertaking executive leadership programs at leading business schools in the US and Europe; his most recent position being General Manager of Strategy and Performance in SA/NT.

Group General Manager- NSW
Danny Conlon.
Danny has worked within the transport industry for 20 years - including several years with the Transport Workers Union. Starting at Veolia in 1998, Danny has held senior roles in Municipal Collections and Resource Recovery, and has experience in the operations and technologies of VES Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East; additionally Danny has undertaken executive leadership and strategy programs at leading business schools throughout the United States.
As the NSW Group General Manager, Danny sets strategic direction and growth plans for NSW, manages professional development of key personnel, and represents VES NSW at a government, industry and stakeholders level. He is also Director on the Woodlawn Wind Energy JV Board as well as the Veolia Mulwaree Trust Fund.
