We provide specialist protective coating and painting services for the protection of steel and concrete base tanks and buildings against hydrogen sulphide affected (cancerous) concrete.

Veolia undertakes a wide variety of maintenance painting contracts for both commercial and industrial clients with abrasive blast cleaning and heavy duty protective coatings for manufacturing and processing plants, petrochemical refineries and all commercial and industrial operations. Wet abrasive blasting and application of epoxy coatings conducted in fully enclosed work areas, and the utilisation of a 15,000 cfm dust collector to control dust and environmental conditions guarantees environmental and public safety.

In addition to the traditional methods of surface preparation e.g. abrasive blasting, etc. Veolia Environmental Servicescan also carry out surface preparation by means of ultra high-pressure water blasting at pressures of up to 30,000 psi (2000bar). This method has distinct benefits in areas where dust and spent abrasive residue cannot be tolerated.
