What does Veolia do with confidential/secure waste materials?
All confidential and secured waste is delivered to and disposed of in a facility that is licensed to receive this type of material. This type of material is generally destroyed. Shredded paper and electronic waste (i.e. Microfiche, Computer Hard Drives etc) are recycled.
Secured destruction of electronic waste can be recycled at our electronics waste recycling facilities located in Sydney. Electronic waste from the other major centres would be sent to a licensed facility for either secure destruction or recycling.
