What does Veolia do with electronic waste (E-waste) materials?
Electronic waste (E-waste) is collected either using pallets or bulk bins. It is then sent to our E-waste recycling facility located in Sydney. E-waste (including computers, printers, copiers, PABX etc) are manually dismantled and sorted into the respective recyclable parts for further processing.
Veolia entered into an alliance with Sims Group Limited, a leading recycling company, to establish Australia's first comprehensive electronic equipment (WEEE Program), or E-waste, recycling network.
Veolia’s recycling operations are located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. However, Veolia also collects E-waste from everywhere in Australia for processing at a licensed facility.
