Potable Water Lines

Specialised Potable water pipe lines for industry using the following materials

Cooling Modules and Water Lines/Jackets

• Veolia Environmental Services developed a specialised cooling module at Alcoa Kwinana. The module was designed by Veolia Environmental Services to solve the issue of emergency shower and eye-wash stations becoming too hot in the summer months. This system was also designed to circulate the water in a ring main to prevent the water stagnating at dead ends.
• Veolia Environmental Services also provides fabrication and installation of the cooling lines, jackets and boshes.

Hot Tapping

• Veolia provides Hot Tapping connections to live mains without shutting off the flow, which is done by drilling through a valve connected to the mains’ external wall.

Torpedo Pipe Cleaning

• An air pressure driven projectile, designed to clean the internal surface of pipe work and can be used on many different types of services for the removal of bacterial growth and scale.

Poly Pipe Welding

• Poly welding has proven to be a better long-term way of connecting Poly pipe and is a durable and cost effective for both new and existing installations. Poly Pipe also has a projected longer service life than traditional piping materials.

Backflow Prevention

• Backflow prevention devices prevent contaminants feeding back into the water main, by means of non-return valves and reduced pressure zones found in the following pipeline locations.
• Boundary containment.
• Zone protection.
• Individual protection.

Sewage and effluent Treatment plants and spill control systems include;

• The primary containment and treatment of sewage and effluent to a safe level for disposal in sub-irrigation or leach fields.
• The separation of oil and water for safe disposal.
