The corporate license encompasses both a broad sustainability commitment, as well as a performance criterion set by the EPA in Victoria; consolidating all four existing site-based licenses into one.
In addition to the clarity and practicality this will provide, the efficiency gains will also reduce administrative burdens and compliance costs whilst sustaining continual improvement in environmental performance.
Veolia and the EPA in Victoria recently held a function attended by senior representatives of local Victorian organisations, to launch and commemorate the signing of the license.
Veolia Environmental Services MD Doug Dean and the EPA’s Victorian Chairman Mick Bourke were also proud to host Veolia Environnement Executive Vice President and Veolia Environmental Services CEO - Denis Gasquet, CEO UK Executive Director for Northern Europe and Australia - Jean-Dominique Mallet as well as Veolia Water Director of Communications and International Affairs -Dinah Louda at the event.
