The surge in demand for the development of environmentally conscious and sustainable plans by construction companies and councils has allowed for the increase awareness of the necessity of recovering construction and building waste materials for reuse.
Veolia Environmental Services operates a number of Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling Centres across Australia, which are designed to maximise the recovery of building and demolition materials for reuse through an innovative sorting process separating the various waste streams.

Received material such as discarded or broken bricks, tiles, concrete, timber, plasterboard and metal is sorted, processed, and recycled with the aim of re-supplying the building and construction industry with an economically viable alternative medium to new material.
