Veolia Environmental Services offers 24-hour response services for environmental emergencies throughout Australia. Veolia’s depots are equipped with the necessary procedures and tools to contain emergency situations and minimise damages until, if necessary, a response team specialising in all types of spills arrives on scene.
Upon request, Veolia Environmental Services can designate a team specialised in environmental emergencies and train them to respond to each customer's specific needs. Intended for both companies and municipalities, this customised prevention program is exclusive to Veolia Environmental Services and is available due to the emergency equipment and procedures already in place.
Veolia Environmental Services can efficiently respond to any types of emergency spills whether oil or chemical. Our emergency response teams are trained in the latest spill containment and decontamination procedures and are able to handle a wide range of spills on land and at sea.
Veolia is also equipped to provide high quality environmental testing and monitoring using state-of-the-art instrumentation. Veolia’s Laboratory Services are accredited and certified with the National Association Testing Authorities (NATA) to International Standards AS ISO/IEC 17025-1999 and AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 with SAI Global Assurance Services (SAI Global). Our accreditation also includes certification with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Licence No. 83579, and with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS).
Veolia is the sole sponsor of the Stroke of Art Exhibition and Fundraising Dinner which raises money for the National Stroke Foundation to aid stroke research
